Just a note

Today I uploaded more pictures from the west coast, from the Marc Adamus photo seminar. Here is the link: https://picasaweb.google.com/home

The garden is growing well, should have 'new' potatoes soon. I've planted the next bed of lettuce and greens. Beans are up and will soon be asking for something to climb on! It's getting HOT weather in Tennessee!

Today I have been editing more pictures of LA and the Getty Center, along with cleaning house and getting things ready for the book club tomorrow. Here are a couple of birds flying from the whale watch Yvonne, April and I went on. I'll post more on the picasa site soon.

I posted here yesterday but the pictures and words were sort of jumbled, so here I go today!! Most of the month of April was spent on an adventure. I visited April in LA., saw the Golden Girls in Ca and Oregon, and rode a train from L.A. to Portland and spent a few nights at Paul and Gina's. I also took a weekend photo class from Marc Adamus around the central coast of Oregon. I had a wonderful trip, and I'm just now starting to edit pictures from that time.

From 30,000 feet in the air, the dark places in the photo are cloud shadows!! Here is one from the plane window when we were closer to the mountains!

Having trouble figuring out this blogg way of arranging words and images, so that's about all the pictures I will put up today. I'll add another blog just for images maybe.

Saturday I went to Standing Stone State Park and took some wildflower pictures. The early flowers are in bloom, and the day was sunny.

Thursday this week we had a cloudy, misty, foggy day all day, so by late afternoon I finally went on my daily walk, and here are a couple of shots I found. Everything was soaking and dripping with fog water. It was beautiful. I took the close-up lens.

The blue flower is looking down on the top of a small blooming grape hyacinath.

The second shot is taken of a bramble, or saw brier tendrils. Water gives everything a bit of brilliance not found every day.

Have a great day you-all!!

Good Morning!

Seems that most folks have a blog, so here I am starting one. The weather is fine, the sun has not yet come up over the hills, and I'm planning a good day! Hope yours is wonderful (wonder-filled) as well!

Let's see if I can find a picture or two to get started with! The first one is called BIG-little, and the second one is Woods in Winter.
